1. proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ and to urge its personal acceptance by faith.

2. cultivate spiritual life and Christian fellowship by maintaining regular services.

3. promote training for Christian service and to encourage Christian activity.

4. work for and to contribute to spreading the Gospel at home and on our mission fields.

5. hold to and to teach the principles and doctrines of the Word of God, the only foundation of our faith.

Our Pastor

Pastor Steve V.

Steve Vetter was born in Mobridge, SD to a ministry minded family where his father was a pastor. After graduating high school in Washington state, Steve sensed God’s calling into ministry and pursued an undergraduate degree. He attended Prairie Bible College for a year before transferring to NABC (North American Baptist College) where He received a bachelor’s degree in arts and religion. He also met his wife at NABC, Carol, and married several years later. After serving as a youth pastor in British Columbia, he finished his education by achieving his master’s degree in divinity from Sioux Fall Seminary. Since graduating, he has been in ministry for over 45 years serving as a senior pastor in Kansas, South Dakota, Wyoming, and North Dakota. Now 45 years later, he is ever more passionate about preaching God’s word faithfully and reaching a hurting world for the Lord. He and his wife Carol have 5 children and 10 grandchildren and love being grandparents. Additionally, he enjoys hunting, hiking, biking, house renovating, and enjoying God’s creation.

Statements of Faith

We believe that God exists in three equal persons as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe that Jesus Christ is the divine Son of God, born of the Virgin Mary, and is the only way to God.

We believe the Bible was given by God by divine inspiration and that every word is without error in the original writings.  It is the only authority and guide for all doctrine and conduct.

We believe God created man in His image. Man sinned through Satan’s temptation resulting in a need of God’s salvation.

We believe salvation is given through God’s grace and forgiveness by the redemption of Christ through His death and bodily resurrection. We believe in the mystery of the freewill of mankind and the sovereignty of God.

We believe that the two ordinances of the church, as acts of obedience by believers, are baptism by immersion and The Lord’s Supper for those walking in fellowship with Christ.

We believe the Church is the body of which Christ is the head and all who put personal faith in Him are members.

We believe in the independence of the local church and the congregational form of government.

We believe in a bodily return of Jesus Christ to earth and in bodily resurrection and everlasting life for the saved and everlasting damnation to those who are unsaved.
